Friday Update 2/21/25

This week has been a lot of admin, as often happens after I wrap up a writing project. At the start of the week I finished writing my Urban Fantasy short story in the Bone Witch series that will come out on St. Patty’s day in a St. Patty’s anthology. That’s been turned in to the editor and is ready to go.

After that I gathered a big list of admin and started at the top. I did a bunch of work with my Uncollected Anthology group, making website updates and linking to our most recent anthology. We also organized most of our next one! The cover art is prepped so I need to format my personal copy of my story but this one is also turned in for the group anthology.

My other anthology project is the Department of Dragon Archives, which now has a website! This anthology series is just getting started. It’s invitation only and we already have our submission pool for the first volume A Horde Of Books. We’re currently reaching out to artists for covers and editing the selected stories.

Other work this week included walking an author friend through setup of her first Kickstarter!! If you’re into suspense, mysteries, and ghosts, you’re going to love these books. They’re excellent. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/graffridgepub/partners-in-crime-murder-ghost-romance-stories

And if you like your books in hardback with gold foil, well, I have good news for you in particular.

Next week I write a scifi short story for Boundary Shock Quarterly magazine and then I’m back on the horse for Vampires!
